Ok, everyone knows that in the polar regions you can experience both 24 hours of daylight and darkness. I just wanted to confirm that at both the north and south poles there is only one sunrise and sunset each year...or just one day a year. I assume that around the spring equinox the sun begins to poke above the horizon. Hello, I am planning to set up a RAID 1 array on my computer. I have purchased two new Seagate 160GB ATA drives (both brand new, unformatted, unpartitioned) that I plan to use as a 160 GB mirrored array. However, currently I have a smaller capacity hard drive that I am using now as my primary boot drive with the operating system installed (Windows 2000, NTFS formatted). The mechanics of setting up the RAID array seem straightforward, but my question is, is it possible to duplicate the contents of my existing hard drive to the array? I'm a newbie and tried to find an answer via searching the forums but unsuccessfully. I was at a friend's birthday party. She was opening gifts in front of the patio but inside. However there was a lot of natural light filling the room. But my pictures look a bit hazy and the outer edges were bright white - no color definition. I have been searching for days now how to correct and error I made. I went to a web site and it asked for my name and password. i have a 9 year old dog who is a maltese poodle she has siezures, but shes on pills for it. yesterday she started limping on her front right paw and her back left our theory is frostbite- its been snowing now this morning a was laying with her and she keeps like choking every few minutes and theres like 5 in a row each time im sooo worried about her i though she died! she was shivering, not a siezure, so i wrapped her up, but theres still choking! The best I can suggest is to flush the system. Pull the top hose off the radiator and hang it off to the side . put a garden hose in the radiator top hose hole . Run the water enough so that it pours out the sides of the garden hose and radiator hole slightly. You will need to secure the garden hose in the radiator hole and secure the top hose off out of the way. Run the motor for 20 minutes after the engine has heated up. I am trying to make a print in Adobe CS with an HP deskjet printer. First off, I know the quality will be lacking with this printer, but for what i need for this project it is fine. Ok, so When I go to "print with preview" there are all kinds of color management options. Before I waste anymore paper or ink, how do I get it to print the same as it apears on my NEC monitor?? I'm in doubt about these two: Sony DSC-N1 vs Samsung NV-10. I know these are only compact class, but still prefer to have at least 30fps of video clips and a fully controllable Manual controls (I also want at least 15 secs of exposure) The Samsung has that slider interface, while Sony is touchscreen. I'm getting these swirlies (Wood grain like pattern) on my negative scans. Does anyone know where these are coming from- no i'm sober so it's not that. The negatives are clean of any weirdness(oil, gooey stuff, etc...) so I'm convinced its my scanner - epson 1650. I know epsons are notorious for their belts breaking...is this the beginning of the end for my scanner? or is there something wrong elsewhere. I've scanned over 350 negatives with this machine and it's never done this before. I tweeked the configuration and nothing. maybe it's time fer a new one. ah? any input?Those are called newton rings.
