By cfz | March 16, 2010

  • hi all
the subject line probably says it all, but how do i create new folders with all upper case names? when i try this it converts the folder name to title case. i m using office 97.
    thanks

  • hi tagger
that s what i thought it was. i remember being able to do that at one time a few career changes ago, but the view menu on this version of windows (NT4), or the way it s been configured perhaps, doesn t have that option. the view menu has options but not folder options . oh well. thanks anyway.

  • anno - if you can t find it under view, look under tools. I have folder options under both (yeah, strange)

NT4sp5 w/full priv, but maybe they missed something.

  • To make those capital letters folders try:

-In Window Explorer , select View>Folder Options
    -Click on the View tab
-Select Allow All Uppercase Names option
    -Click OK

If there is anything else I can do for you let me know.
