we recently got our 4month old an Evenflo jumper that hangs from the door but he is so lazy on it!! he sits in it, jumps once or twice and gets mad!! he already gets tired of all his other toys...bouncer, swing, play gym....and he doesn't even give me time to take a shower sometimes!!! was there anything that kept your baby company?? or do you think he has to get used to the jumper before he can like it?4 months he might not be ready for it. i remember my mom got our son 1 at 4 months and he didn't do anything with it.
the baby isn't bored he just wants interaction. but i do understand the need to shower for more than 2.5 minutes. i have a teddy bear that makes woom sounds. i love that thing. it even puts me to sleep. lol. i can turn it on and it helps my son go to sleep so i can take a shower. i think that he just has to get used to it because its something new and baby's have a small attention spanhe needs tummy time on the floor he will find he knows how to turn over he will be getting on his hands and knees he will be crawling before you know it. My kids rolled and they could get to toys etc before they could crawl. do you ever take your baby out with you? get a baby carrier, put him on your back and go out~ go shopping, go see a movie, go to a museum, anything. live your life. the sites alone might be enough to stimulate your baby's interest while you keep yourself from going insane from being cooped up all day every day. :) and as he gets older you can teach him about the things you're seeing together.
as for the jumper, he may just need time to get used to it. or it could just be a personal preference. My nephew just turned 7 months and you can't keep him playing with anything for too long. But what I do now is bounce him up and down and he laughs so much it's so cute. :P And even though it gets tiring, sometimes that's the price to pay as a mom. Or you could always find someone else around to do it if you need a break :D#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
