I'm thinking about buying a ps3. can you give me some information?

  • how much space does each game take?
    can i download games in their entirety like the 360 can? (quieter and faster load times, gameplay)
    is 80gb a good model? i dont care about backwards compatibilities
    is 80 gb enough? I'm expecting to buy about 6 games.
    do you reccomend the 40gb mgs4 gray edition or the 80 gb black?

    now for the extremely important questions:

    is the blu ray payer the same quality of a seperate blu ray player?
    how is the internet? is it watered down in any way? can i go to any site?
    what are its limitations? (as far as internet)
    is there a wireless keyboard and mouse that can connect with the ps3? (not the time one that attaches to the controller, a full sized one)
    when getting music on the ps3, do i have to have a cd, or can i connect it to a computer and transfer?


    finally, should i buy it during christmas shopping or around march next year?



  • well here is one thing the ps3 has 2 wireless controllers you don't have to buy it it comes with it and they have a good selection of games you should get it!!!!!

    U Can download free game demos add-ons trailers and even Playstation Classics like Crash Bandicoot.Theres a Online Store for it and it"s Free! 80gb is a good model you can play playstation 2 games with it and it has alot of stuff.80gb is enough matter of fact it has extra space.i have a 40gb and i have six ps3 games and still got space in my ps3..
    Blu Ray player that"s installed has everything the same that a separate blu-ray player would have.internet is awesome on ps3 like i said earlier ps3 has an online store and you can go to any website like ign.com or myspace.com or anything like youtube.com etc... yes you can buy a ps3 Madcatz keyboard but im original i just use my ps3 dull-shock wireless controller.you can use both oh and by the way you CAN"T listen to music while playing on the PS3 (console)

  • LOL 80gb has more than enough space you need to play your games. Yes you can download entire games to your playstation as well. If you ever want to upgrade your HD all you have to do is buy one from any electronics place. 6 games wont take up hardly any space on your PS3 Id say go on and get the 160 gig PS3 bundle that is available now. Yes the Blu Ray player is the same quality. I have been able to surf every website I have went too look at videos on youtube and Hulu. But I cant stream movies from Netflix on it. they say if you download an operating system Yellow Dog you can. The PS3 is Blue Tooth compatible so you can use any blue tooth device you have on your PS3 even a Wii Mote. that includes a wireless keyboard if its blue tooth I transfer my music files and pics to the PS3 through my usb Flash Drive.

    I would get the 160gig bundle that they have now while supplies last.

    2.)Yes you can download games onto your PS3.(Load time depends on your internet speed, or if your downloading off a disc then yes it will run just as fast and quiet.)
    3.)If you dont care about backwards compatibilities then all PS3 models are good for you because that and harddrive space is mostly the only differences.
    4.)80gb is Plenty i got 15games. and still got tons of space.
    5.)I'd probably recommend the 80gb black just because thats the one i got, but this one is really up to you.
    6.)The blu-ray player on PS3 is better then stand alone Blu-ray players because it constantly is being updated with firmware update keeping it up to date.
    7.)The Internet is Awsome and you can serf any site just like on your computer, the internet speeds are not watered down, they run fast depeneding really on your internet speeds.
    8.)Yes the Ps3 has many supporting Full computer sized keyboards and mouses.
    9.)YOu can have a CD an MP3 player or you can connect it to your computer to transfer music.

    I'd buy it this christmas.
