Loading Movie (swf) on Load?

  • Is there anyway to load a swf file into a movieclip on load.

    Here is my dilemma
    obviously I am an ultra newbie and lazy so i got an flash photo gallery
    program to generate a flash photogallery for me. The problem is it only
    outputs is as a SWF file. I am working with scenes so I was wondering if
    there was anyway as soon as i switch to the gallery scene to have the
    swf photo gallery load on the screen.

  • I had already tried something similar

    In my third scene I am trying to get the photogallery to load as soon as someone clicks on the "gallery" that points to this scene. When I put the code

    contents.loadMovie("myalbum.swf");
    or
    _root.contents.loadMovie("myalbum.swf");

    into the first frame of the action layer. For some reason it's shooting me back to the first scene. Thats why I was asking if there were any specific on Load type functions I could use.

    Any Ideas??

  • I have to ask...does the scene have a stop() statement in the code? I can't suggest much else without more info or seeing the file, it could be doing that for so many reasons. send it 2 me if ud like me 2 hav a look, probably wont b 2 hard 2 fix.
