I have LYRA 4138F24 transparent watercolors in pan form. I would like
to replace the individual colors as I use them up. The individual
pans are designed to be removed & replaced. Who can supply?
Manufacturer? Can't find.. Online art supplier? Anyone?Dear washburn,
Replacing the individual color pans of the LYRA paint box could prove
a problem. LYRA is a German company, and on their domestic market, the
watercolor paint boxes are intended for serving as rather low-price
equipment for school children. Replacement of individual color pans
is, unlike with more expensive products such as Pelikan, not planned
since it is usually cheaper and easier to buy a new paint box (I know
that for sure because I am German myself).
However, you might want to contact the manufacturer. If anyone can
provide you replacement color pans, it's LYRA themselves, so I give
you contact information for both the Lyra company headquarters in
Germany and their registered representative office in the USA:
