xbmc suddenly stopping in the middle of the movie

  • it'll play fine like to the middle of the movie and then it will just suddenly stop. it will then return to the xbmc select screen. i tried xbmp but couldn't get to that part b/c it wouldn't let me fastforward. did experience with this before? running xbmc xbox media center 2004-04-16 and xbmp 2.4? also does any1 know if xbmp will be release an upgrade soon. haven't seen a update for a long time. just wondering.

  • problem is that the file is an opendml. this kind of sreamtype is not supported very well by xbmc (mplayer) atm.

    search the forum for opendml to find a solution for the file. you can streamcopy it with virtualdub which is a pretty fast way to fix it.
